No, I can't :(
But I just thought I'd let others know that it *just* been approved for *long term maintenance* (with lithium or valproate) for bipolar. Earlier it was only approved for mixed states and manic episodes (+ schizophrenia of course)

I love it (sarcasm)when pharmacy companies discover or approve something that has been known to work for years and has been used as such. Such a waste of research money. Although it does help them sell more pills.

I agree. It's a pathetic waste of money which could be spent better.
But the fact is that some pdocs will only prescribe something that is 'officially' approved for an indication. For example; Seroquin was being pushed on me forever because it was 'approved' for bipolar mainatence therapy. But did I fit the patient profile for such a AP? NO way!! It's way too sedating!
The fact that I was being maintained on Geodon caused some pdocs I saw(even one who was a associate professor at Harvard) to sneer and question the prescribing pdoc because it was 'off label' at the time. It wasn't relevant that it worked!! She still wanted me on Seroquin.
Sad..
