I have been taking 30mg of Cymbalta for a month and bumped up to 60mg recently. I notice that at either dose I feel like a zombie - totally emotion-less, just plain flat. Also - no interest in sex or ability to orgasm.
But the biggest issue so far has been how it effects my gut. My stomach will make the worst noises after about 2 hours from when I take it.
Plus, I find myself running to the bathroom. I feel like Cymbalta has given me irritable bowel syndrome.
Do the stomach issues go away? Will this get better or should I just find another med for depression?

When I first started an SSRI, a few years ago, it made me feel like I had IBS and it killed my appetite -- I actually lost several pounds. But that effect wore off in about a month and I have never since had side effects from an SSRI or SNRI. I think your brain get used to them.

Sounds strange as I think you're lucky to me shows the med is about to work. I took 60mg for three months nothing. Phillipa

For me the Gastro effects never went away- in fact they got worse eventually, especially at the 60mg dose. I was incredibly constipated and hugely bloated. I just gained alot of fat in the midsection without increased anxiety. Sex side effects weren't good either.
