In some cases of schizophrenia, improvements don't manifest for a few months.
What were you expecting?
What are your reasons for having these expectations?

I wish my psychosis be entire gone like it did first time after 2 weeks
really a magic bullet for 2 months
a cure for every mental disease
Seroquel 25 mg --> buildup to 100 mg
but then Tolerance kicked in and it never worked again....
so i'm hooked up to XR now already a small improvement but not the magic bullet

I feel for you Jeroen, but as I've learned from 8 years of illness, there is no "magic bullet" for everything, or even for some things. And if one feels better and goes off medication, it doesn't mean that it was a "cure"... most psychiatric medications are palliatives -- they help people function better in life.
And I agree with Scott... you have to be (don't take this as an insult... it really hurts me too to think about these things) realistic about what you expect out of medications, tests, all things medical. They're recommendations, they're not promises.
I know you're holding on to the hope of "kicking in", but try not to count "day 13" like you did with another medication, because it isn't going to help you. Its not like saying I'm on day 13 of an antibiotic course. Transmitters are much different. It would be better to write a diary and instead of looking at the medication, write what you feel, the anger, the angst, the good and the bad... instead of focusing on the medication.
The medication will take its time -- Scott's not far off when he says its really 3 months off to see major improvement, unfortunately.
I've had the same too... and I can't say now that my improvements are the same as before... I'm battling some pretty odd visual symptoms that NOBODY has seen before.
Sitting and thinking about medication and how ill one is counterproductive. I know. I'm there at this point -- and I do have a right to be because I have visual symptoms that I know aren't real but would freak the sh*t out of someone, pardon my language.
I do look for the next drug at times... but its not always going to be the "winner". And since I've had adverse reactions to medications, though I really want to try everything possible, I have to realize that if I ask for something and its agreed upon, its a two way street about it.
So, anyhow Jeroen... I would highly recommend a thought and feelings diary. I think it would be therapeutic for you to get out your feelings on paper.
Frankly I also wish wherever you are being treated had group therapy sessions -- I think you would get benefit from interaction with others, even if you don't think you relate at all. They really should do that.
-- best wishes-- Jay

That's disappointing. I thought that perhaps you would give this treatment sufficient time to work.
Apparently not.
