I'm considering taking a deep breath and asking my p/doc for Nardil. I know there are certain foods and drinks that must be avoided yet some people on here say some of the 'prohibited' food/drink is ok. For example I've read on just about every website on Nardil that alcohol must NOT be taken while taking the drug - yet people on here say that bottled beer is ok.
How do you know what your body will stand without trying that particular food/drink which is potentially lethal?
Is it a case of just trying all the prohibited food/drink and keeping some antihypertensive drugs on hand in case of an emergency??

I understand. It is frustrating. Many of the lists contradict each other. And if you follow them all, you won't be able to eat anything except Honey Nut Cheerios all day. Here's the list that I follow. See page 6.

A few days ago (see my post) I had a hypertensive reaction to plain, unmelted Monterey Jack cheese. I used to eat it melted with no problem. I will be very careful from now on.
I myself do drink bottled beer. Life would suck without beer!!
