Yes to parnate and No to nortriptaline

Posted by Maxime on August 24, 2009, at 18:09:52

Well I saw my pdoc today. He gave me the go ahead to start cutting back the Cymbalta (he doesn't want me to go cold turkey). Then once I am off it for two weeks I can start the Parnate. But he won't let me take the nortriptaline with it! He said it isn't done anymore. There must be articles out there on taking the two together. It's odd that he would say no considering he let me take it with Adderall last time.

Oh well. It will be about 3-4 weeks before I can start the Parnate so hopefully I can change his mind by then.

Scott, if you are reading this and have any links to articles about taking the two together, please pass them on to me.

Well will he let you augment parnate with anything if something is needed? We have someone in here who is on parnate and nortriptyline and that has worked like magic. Can you present that as evidence?
