I don't think its ever seen in humans or it is very rare.
As to contributing to glaucoma, that I don't know... there are medications I believe that yes, can do that.
Mainly there are medications that shouldn't be used with people with wide-angle glaucoma or should be discussed with a doctor and/or and ophthalmologist. Those are mainly in the class of anticholinergics and include anti-parkinsonians (Artane, Cogentin), TCAs with strong anticholinergic effects (e.g. amitriptyline), antipsychotics with strong anticholinergic effects (e.g. Seroquel), and antihistamines/anti-nausea medications with strong anticholinergic effects (e.g. meclizine) among others.

thanks,
I've been referred to a opthalmologist to check for glaucoma after a routine eye exam today...weird. I never would've expected this. I'll see how it works out...might have to stop taking something?? We shall see.
thanks again :-)

"pigmentary dispersion syndrome"....and I said "well alright..."
I don't really know, was wondering if meds have something to do with it, will know more when I see opthalmologist, I'll mention it to pdoc when I see him (same day as eye doctor, but later)
wish me luck, I like my peepers ;-)
