I think most trials of memantine to treat OCD have used 20mg as the dosage studied. However, some people here have gone as high as 40mg.

Around 25mg really made me feel calm and relaxed although it did make me feel dizzy and light-headed.

How was it for sleep?
It's very long acting.

I can't say I noticed that it helped me sleep better. It may do with some people but when I took it my sleeping patterns generally remained the same.
It tended to have a noticeable calming effect with me.
