I took amoxicillin like 1 hour ago and i felt a surge of energy and lifted depression/mood. WHAT?? weird!
Dont take this to heart because it might be temporary. Super wierd though, I feel way normal!

Same thing happened to me recently - I got a 3 day dose of antibiotics (can't remember the name though) because my T-cell count was slightly high and they feared I might have some sort of infection. Felt really noticeable improvements in depression and anxiety that lasted only until I stopped. How weird.

Oh the z pack only five days right? When on biaxin xl three months at a time for lymes felt good but the wierdness was sitting on an island collecting shells eating a sandwich and second day off all of a suffen boom. Felt like hit by a bomb and felt bad the goodness feeling left never to return. Phillipa

This is not weird at all.
My LLMD who is a genius with antibiotics cannot explain these kinds of phenomenon completely, only that it has something to do with neucrosis factor alpha 1, whatever the heck that is, and that mood can be dramatically altered by our own immune system's reactions to things.
Antibiotics, apart from their organism killing, have functions in modulating the immune system. Here at pbabble we sometimes make the mistake of thinking the brain is a separate thing from the rest of the body, but it really isn't. Everything is connected. An ill body, in terms of ill hormone status, ill immune system status, ill toxic level status, or whatever, causes an ill mood.
