Diuretics and Nardil

Why is it not safe to take diuretics with Nardil?

Will drinking more water on Nardil help with the water and urine retention? Any suggestions?

it probably is because they could worsen the orthostatic hypotension of MAOIs, and MAOIs generally help hypertension anyway, what are you taking the diuretic for?
