now the 4mg loz i take with the zoloft . a question for an answer, at six in the morning i get up to take meds including 2mg of loz ,go back to sleep 2 hours get up , start day no more meds left just 2mg of loz, now this is my question i take the last 2 mg loz at 8pm to chill before sleep later,so thats a gap of 14 hours . if loz is so addictive how come im not climbing the walls for the loz inbetween, an is this a good sign i may be able to withdraw easier than before im not that bothered as they seem like old friends now, but the shrink has other idea,s

So you only take zoloft and the ativan?
ativan (loz) has a decent half life...it's possible it's hanging around in your body that long.
Do you notice your need for the ativan diminishing? May also be that there is a steady build of the stuff in your system...a stability of med.
I would also guess here that zoloft is doing more than you think for the anxiety.
I wouldnt say your loz withdrawal will be easy but if it's working why withdraw now or even over worry about it? Deal with that down the road unless you need off the loz soon.
Sounds like youre doing well...I notice you post more and are more happy. This is good. Nice to see manic back.cheers

Myco you know you kind of also answered my questions about my own benzos same thing. Only take at night and weaning down don't seem to need as much. Love Phillipa

myco , you are right i used to take the 4 loz through the day, but getting nothing back now but stabilaty i suppose ,i am under constant presure from the hospital to abort the loz , the balls up on the tw*t who took the 10mg away , still looms on there mind an mine, they tried to blackmail me with cbt , saying i couldent have both , but the gp bollocked the shrink , this is england wee man you dont get more than one med at a time , thats why i look to the suppliments ie lemon barm valerian an any thing else to try,the hospital has about 4 out pationt docs for hundreds of people,they dont remember you from one appointment to the next, i tell them what med i want to try , from you guys , they havent a clue.thats why the loz got out of hand as i said, it was all i had an that was grossly over prescribed , i was a aaaaaaaalien warrior, slured speech an living with barbrella lucky me.

i an interesting fact myco , when i took loz only when needed ,years ago maby 1 a day,when the prozac worked i was able to abort the loz,as the prozac more than covered it , an carnt remember any withdrawls. zoloft simular drug but more loz intake so would be hard to come off . but yes probably the zoloft is covering the loz now.good info my sasanack jock

Youre only on NHS are you? I thought there was a semi private system there also if you afford it. This is developing here in Canada to....but pdocs are not covered in any way from our public health care...sucks.
I think youre having bad luck like me....pdocs only giving you one med at a time. The reason I say this is because many of our best pdocs in Canada were trained in the old days in Britain. I was a little worried about these guys because they are brits and brit docs typically hate benzos and maois. But this isnt actually try...perhaps Canada opened them up...allowed them to use socially more acceptable treatments...not sure. My point is somewhere there you will find the doc you need manic...hes hiding under a rock somewhere though.

i wont hold my breath about finding a good shrink , i have all on stopping them killing me the nobs,the girl at cbt said manic you need phyco theopy,but it take a long time to get a chance. no wonder( SHE) gave it an she was a stunner im in love

You may have to hold your breath cuz he may be hiding under water ya know...england trains/has some of the best pdocs in the world so he/she is out there manic...hunt them down lol
