Pretty average dosage. I generally took betwen 1 and 2 mg a day so your 1.5mg is within the norm for anxiety.

It depends naturally on how you feel. Do you feel drugged and/or a little high?

If your pdoc says .5 three times a day I'd go with that. Just my opinion. Love Phillipa

Its average life is about 16+ hours though it may have other metabolites. Once to twice a day is usually indicated I think.
1.5mg is about 30mg of Valium... a low to medium average dose.
Severe situations it is dosed up to about 8mg although 4 is more common.
Its a bit of a 'subtle' agent in my opinion although some people do get more relief, as a PRN agent.
