Hi All!!!
Since I have seen alot of postings lately about long term effects and sometimes permanent issues with ssri's, was wondering if people taking maoi's have noticed any long term effects taking them.
Tried to find info, but couldn't. All I could find was that maoi's generally respond better for people who are hyper-sensitive to ssri's and their success rate seems to be higher and that patients using maoi's can stay on them for a longer period of time.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Courtney

In reply to MAOI's - has anyone come across long term damage?, posted by Cseagraves on January 28, 2009, at 22:01:54
i'm sure you can. people dislike having faceless danger. finding something to blame makes danger seem more controllable and less ambiguous. it is the same reason people morally blame those with illnesses w/o visible source.

Have you come to any conclusions about the SSRIs? Which effects do you feel they are responsible for?
