Metroprolol interaction w Adderall or Provigil

Does anyone know if a Beta Blocker such as Lopressor (Metroprolol) will interact with either Adderall or Provigil. Provigil and or Adderall used to get DW out of bed and Provigil would make her smoke a lot more. However, Provigil has almost no effect on wakefulness or energy at 400 mg/day and I noticed that it's not making her smoke any more than without the drug. Adderall will focus her mentally and give her a bit of energy, albeit very short lived.

thats what the interaction checker at drugs.com says, so there is maybe some truth but it's not the ultimate answer. I don't have all cytochromes of drugs in my head memorized.

In single-dose pharmacokinetic studies, healthy volunteers given modafinil (200 mg) with dextroamphetamine (10 mg) or methylphenidate (40 mg) exhibited a delay in the absorption of modafinil by approximately 1 hour. The mechanism of interaction is unknown. No other alterations in the pharmacokinetics of any of the drugs were observed. Although not studied, the interaction is likely to also occur with the various prodrug, racemic, and enantiomeric formulations of these drugs (e.g., amphetamine, lisdexamfetamine, dexmethylphenidate, armodafinil).

Interactions between your selected drugs and food

Moderate Drug-Food Interaction metoprolol (Moderate Drug-Food)
ADJUST DOSING INTERVAL: The bioavailability of metoprolol may be enhanced by food.

MANAGEMENT: Patients may be instructed to take metoprolol at the same time each day, preferably with or immediately following meals.

Minor Drug-Food Interaction Provigil (modafinil) (Minor Drug-Food)
Administration with food may delay the absorption of modafinil (the racemate) and armodafinil (the R-enantiomer) without significantly affecting their overall bioavailability. According to the product labeling, modafinil's absorption may be delayed by approximately one hour if taken with food. Similarly, the time to reach peak plasma concentration (Tmax) of armodafinil may be delayed by approximately 2 to 4 hours in the fed state.

blabla:
Polypharmacy is a quite crucial thing. The cytochromes are very polymorph especially because of genetic duplications during our phylogeny.
