hi there, i am on 10 mg of lexapro for about 2 weeks. i was on 5 for a few weeks before then.
i feel agitated, slightly. i also feel like i might blurt things out to people and even though i dont do it, it feels like i might. usually not nice things.
i did effexor once and i think i had a similar experience and stopped it. i called my doc. left a message. wondering if this is normal, will go away, if others had the same experience, etc.

I'm switching over to lexapro as well. I've been on 10mg for 4 days now and it seems much less activating than zoloft.
Anyway, when I started on zoloft years ago I was agitated to no end. It took about a month before things calmed down... I was taking clonazepam as well so that helped somewhat. You should try to stay with it for a couple more weeks at least... you may be a day away from reaching therapeutic relief and a lessening of the agitation.
If things don't improve... or the agitation becomes severe, talk with your doctor.Regards, Rick

Lexapro is well-known to produce anxiety that appears at about day 14 and disappears by day 21. You are right on schedule.
Hang in there.
