Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out why i'm getting myoclonus (constant small muscle twitches -- it's basically all the time) in my legs. I've isolated it to either Sam-E, Vitamin C (high dose 1000-2000mg) or B-100 vitamin. Does anyone have any insight? My best guess right now is that it's the vitamin C that's doing it.ANy help would be much appreciated.

I've taken 2000mg of time release C for over 30 years and my understanding is that what your body doesn't use you just urinate it. Is there some reference link you have that ties C into muscle twitches? If so would love to read as sometimes have them in legs while falling to sleep. Sorry for your problems. Love Phillipa

Magnesium deficiency can also cause muscle twitches. Stress states can waste magnesium.
