i havent tryed seroquel XR, maybe it will kick in, its not available here in belgium, in holland it is, but dont know why its not here

Jeroen lots of meds available in Europe and not here and didnt know there was a time release seroquel. Personally think the shorter acting meds release better but that is just me. Love Phillipa

For most there really isn't a lot of difference between once a day Seroquel dosing even though the half life is only 6 hours for most, and once a day XR dosing, once the plasma level works up.
Still, were it available, who knows, maybe you would respond. But that's sort of a non issue since it isn't around and if it becomes available it probably could be put in place anyhow.
There really wasn't a fanfare about it coming to market here anyhow, the website for it seemed to take half a year or more to come online even though it was available, but I don't think its heavily prescribed. Who knows?

That doesn't mean that you will or will not respond to it. There are people taking a lot of agents. This board is a small crossection of people and everyone is different.
And yes as I said its prescribed, but I don't think predominantly. It would probably be the most expensive atypical ahead of regular Seroquel.

im adding magnesium 400 mg with a 10% chance of seroquel to kick in, its worth a try
