Has this been a problem for anyone or not? Please let me know what your experience was with this.

>Yes, I suffered from anxiety, agitation hot and cold flashes, increased depression and insomnia for about 10 days. And that was with a taper, but not long or gradual enough obviously. But fyi, it was a walk in the park compared to discontinuing Neurontin's new relative, Lyrica.
But then other people here claim to have stopped it cold turkey with no withdrawal. So as usual YMMV.
Taper the drug as slowly as you can to minimize withdrawal. Good luck.
Phoenix.

Thank you both for the feedback.
I am not currently on Neurontin. I'm just considering trying it but I'm afraid of the possible withdrawal issue. Wish I had a crystal ball and could tell whether or not I'd have a problem with it.

Maybe Neurontin is easier to withdraw from than Lyrica because Lyrica is more enjoyable?
Or at least there is some connection between the two?

Could be. Maybe we have to pay for what little pleasure we get.
How are you doing? Did you stop the milnacipran?

Yep.
I started to feel more awful and began to shut down, so I stopped it.
Trivastal is better for me, and not even continuous doses of that.
But the first couple of days at 50mg are good.

Sorry to hear that but glad you've found something else that's working for you instead.
This is the end of the thread.
