Hello friends,
In my constant search for information about drugs I have come across "worstpills.org".
Is anyone familiar with this website?
Could 15 dollars be a good investment for a one-year subscription?
Best regards,
X-ray

Sidney Wolfe is a well-known antagonist of the pharmaceutical industry. On one hand, he seems to be well-meaning. On the other hand, he seems to be somewhat unbalanced in his view of the ills of many drugs-- even though, perhaps in some settings, they have problems. His overall assessment seems quite wrong.
If you find the site interesting, there may be helpful information there. However, I wouldn't blindly trust anything I read there-- without checking other sides and taking other, legitimate and authoritative positions seriously. I certainly wouldn't let my choices of drugs be guided by his thoughts, even if knowing them might provide a useful minority view.

You wrote,[...Sidney Wolf is...he seems to be somewhat xxxx in his view...His overall assessment seems quite xxxx...], and, [...I certainly wouldn't let my choices of drugs be guided by xxx xxxx...].
I am unsure as to how you arrived at some of the statements in question here. If you could identify the following, then I could have a better understanding of the background that was used to write the statements in question and respond accordingly,
A. In [...he seems to be somewhat xxxx in his view...], could you identify what criteria you used to characterize Mr. Wolfe as somewhat xxxx in his view? If you could then I could have the opportunity to respond accordingly.
B. In,[...His overall assesment seems quite xxxx...],
could you list the criteria that would make an assesment in the sitution in question a correct assesment?
C. In [...I wouldn't let my choices of drugs be guided by...],
Could you list criteria that you use to guide you in your choice of drugs? If you could, then I could compare Mr. Wolf's views with yours and respond accordingly.

Hi Nadezda,
Thanks for your reply!
I'm now a subscriber to WorstPill.
The first thing I found out was that Elavil is a "DO NOT USE" - drug.
I have been on this medicine for 35 years.Well, I can't argue with their judgement of Elavil.
I have hated this "rat poison" for 34 years. But Elavil is a very good sleep aid.
I have not been able to find a substitute.Remeron should be OK, but I don't get enough sleep.
Trazodone might be an option that I'm considering in the near future.Best regards,
X-ray
