Has anyone had any experiences with Neurontin used as an adjunct to an SRI for worry? I'm taking 300mg Effexor XR per day, and we're going to add a low dose of Neurontin to try to control some of the excessive worrying I have. Does anyone know anything about this kind of a use? I'm hopeful it will work, but also worried... hmmm, seems to a be a pattern for me.

Neurontin, helped me more than any SSRI for worry.
I had some side effects that got to be too bad, but I am having other medical problems to boot that may be the cause. It helped a lot for nerve pain, but also made me pretty tired. I think it could be good for some that is for sure in my honest opinion.
Magnesium works even better for me for worry than neurontin, or the ssris. Now that is a mystery....
Good luck on your quest...
