Hello Dade,
I have been on Buspar for 15 years.
This is a good drug for mild anxiety.Buspar doesn't offer immediate relief.
You will have a difficulty noticing the effects.Buspar works best in conjunction with an antidepressant.
My AD has been Elavil, but I switched to Remeron a month ago.Best of Luck,
X-ray

> ThanksAt the time I took it, remember your brain is in constant change... anyhow.... about a month into it and I was dizzy. Which is a common side effect.
As for effects, I don't think it was terribly anxiolytic.
This isn't to put off a trial of it, as another person has mentioned they got some relief from it.Typically, only about 30% of the people who take it get anxiety relief, but if you've tried some other things and you're willing to stick with it and its side effects, maybe its the agent for you.
