Well the good news is that taking 45-60mg of Nardil for the past six weeks has finally affected my sleep, maybe 3-5 hours per night. But that's also the good news, because in my mind it is telling me that Nardil is hitting something.
But help!!! I need something to help me sleep. Do you think my body will naturally adjust or should I take something to help? I am on 60mg Nardil, 25-50 Seroquel, and 2-4mg Klonopin. I am thinking about increasing my intake of Seroquel on a temp basis ... any suggestions?
Thanks in advance, Michael

Insomnia = Theraputic effect.
Just my 2 cents.

What about adding in a hypnotic. When I was on Nardil, I had to double my seroquel and Zopiclone. That combo finally allowed me to get some sleep.

I'd give cyproheptadine a try.

I have been taking all 60mg of Nardil at night.
When I was taking 30-45 in the morning, it gave me daytime sedation. That's why when I switched to the 60, I kept taking it at night.
I've always taken the 25-50mg of Seroquel and 2-4mg of Klonopin at night, about an hour after the Nardil, and slept with the no problems. But that was before I increased to 60.
What do you think? I need HELP. Thanks!!!

Wow that's harsh. I had the 3-5 hour sleep deal, but took 3mg Klonopin about twice a week, which dealt with it on those days, then Ambien or Lunesta 3 times per week.
I'd try Ambien and Lunesta, titrating the dose up as needed. It took me 25-30 mg of Ambien to get to sleep. You can get cheap generic Ambien, but the problem with Ambien is that it only lasts 5 hours, so you need the expensive Ambien CR, which is still under patent.
Anyway, that's how I got a decent night's sleep 4 to 5 times a week.
I also took long naps in the afternoon. You just can't live a healthy life with less than 6.5 hours, and preferably at least 7.5 hours, of sleep per day. It will tear you up.
This is the end of the thread.
