Starting Arimidex....any experiences???

Posted by Jay_Bravest_Face on July 31, 2008, at 20:24:02

Just wondering is/has anybody (particularly males) taking/taken Arimidex to help increase testosterone and decrease harmful estrogen? I am using it mostly for the testosterone increase, but also as a safeguard against conversion to estrogen. I may just take half the regular dose a day after the first week or so, or take a break every 5 days. I am only trying it for a month or two, then I have a urologist appointment and we will measure all my levels and see how I feel then. Any experiences would be helpful! Thanks....

I use 1 mg a week. Break the pill into four parts and take Sun, Mon wed and fri. Raised test from 390 to 610. Make sure your thyroid is at an optimal level as low thyroid can cause problems. Some docs will say your thyroid is normal as long as your in range. So if your in the bottom third you're okay. if you're raising your test also raise you're thyroid if it's not in the upper half.
