Are meds causing limits?

Posted by Sky Brite Line on June 27, 2008, at 23:56:36

I dont take many medications, at all. But its nessary to see improvement either through therpy, self-rebuilding after im torn down every day.

Prozac has helped trmendously with depresssion,
Vyvanse helps with attention, but my doctor prefered over regular stimulants, aka Dexedrine, and Adderall. It doesnt work well.

The best thing for me is waking up, focused, active, and not burded by depression inside. Clear thinking.

What medications can cause impairment. I know abilify already impaired my concentration, i stopped it.

I don't believe that I saw your response to some of the comments on your earlier post? I know that some people have suggested that the Abilify might have been helping you more than you admit -- and I am entirely sure that some have suggested that the Vyvanse is working appropriately, since the idea is not to get a "rush" from the stimulant. In fact, it's often thought that seeking that rush a sign that a medication is working is actually a sign of something else entirely.

Are you seeing a therapist these days? How's that going for you?

Oh, now i understand the adderal GP thread. It sounds like you may want evaluate why you want straight racemic or d-amphetamine and not the vyvanse.
