Nitric oxide synthase inhibitors are purportedly antidepressants.
Does anyone know of any agents (besides paroxatine) which inhibit nitric oxide synthase?

Linkadge,
Aminoguanadine is purported to inhibit nitric oxide synthase via advanced glycation endproduct inhibition. I experimented with this substance some one year and four months ago and experienced the worst cognitive impairment of my life and had my psychotic break a few days later. I wouldn't recommend it.

Spermidine and L-N-nitroarginine methyl ester (L-NAME). The latter appears to be agent of choice in research.
