Tranxene (clorazepate) is like a retarded release nordiazepam, since it converts into nordiazepam inside the stomach and, if i'm not mistaken, not psychoactive by itself.
Like most benzodiazepines, it shouldn't be effective for the treatment of vertigo. They are ok for epilepsy. Perhaps not at such low dose. Keep us informed.

What form of vertigo -- anxiety induced vertigo or vestibular vertigo (dizzyness caused by allergies or other organic disorders of the ear canal)?Anxiety induced can be conquered partially at least by exposure and response, but it is a tough one -- and by benzodiazepines, yes, at least for a short while.
Semicircular canal vertigo is different. One form of medication against it is Dramamine II (meclizine), or cetirizine. Other related anticholinergics may be used, as well as similar medication for anxiety disorders (though it isnt one).
This is the end of the thread.
