Still feel blah

Posted by Happyflower on April 11, 2008, at 10:43:41

Maybe the Prozac has helped a little, but I still depressed and don't want to do anything except stay in bed. It has been 2 weeks with the increased dosage, I see him next week for a check up. Maybe I will feel better by then. I feel blah about my future.

SSRIs can actually worsen apathy. For increased initiative and desire to do things, sulpiride (at low doses, 50-200 mg) was the most powerful drug I've tried, but other dopaminergic agents are useful too.
