Folic acid converts to folate..b6 and b12 help folic acid convert to folate.deplin is already folate so it's better. dha and epa you can get from fish oil..so nothing new here....Take deplin and fish oil and you have a better combo.

Large amounts of omega three (ie 2+ grams a day) has shown to be effective in some bipolar patients but other than that i have no idea.

>Better as far as folate is concerned, but not the other B-vitamins. Especially B6 is important, as it's a cofactor in the synthesis of all the monoamine neurotransmitters (dopamine, serotonin, etc.).
As to phytosterols, I only know they may be useful for cholesterol reduction.

What is real important is what kind of B vitamins they are. Is the B6 P-5-P B6 or just plain common B6? P5P is the active form of it that your body converts raw B6 into...and many people due to environmental insult or genetics do not make this conversion properly. P5P is the good active B6 with the conversion already done.
Same with B12. Is it the good active methyl version?
If this vitamin pill is just plain B6 and plain B12, might as well get the same stuff at the grocery store and mix some fish oil with it.
