hello,
i know i obsess way too much over my meds and should just try and focus on life instead of this
med. stuff it's half my problem but anyway..
does anyone have any good info./experience with klonopin? i was recently switched from xanax and
must admit the xanax seemed to cut through my anxiety way better but of course it only lasts a few hours where as klon lasts all day?
i seem to be reading much more negative posts about klonopin on here? is it just me any one have some positives to help boost my opinion/good feeling about the klonopin switch..
thanx people, thank god for this forum

There are many fans of klonopin. If they are not posting check to archieves the left side of this site's google feature and type in the med and see what you find. Hope they see this and respond. Phillipa

i've been on Klonopin about 15 years. I love it.
Never had a problem with it. i was on xanax for a few years before that and it was difficult to get off the xanax, but easier b/c i started the klonopin after i got down to 2 xanax/day.
i expect to take the klonopin forever - it's the only med i've ever taken that hasn't caused problems - just good stuff, like no more panic attacks!

klonopin/rivotril (clonazepam) is great for me. I love it and I don't get depressed from it at all. It helps my GAD/Panic and restless leg syndrome all at the same time.
I wasn't a huge fan of xanax, it was very difficult to come off, Valium is also another great option. Not quite as heavy as klonopin. Good luck, the fogginess will abate after a few weeks.
