In your experience does this cause drowsiness when taken within the hour of drinking alcohol?
Please share any insight, advice or experiences as I plan to drink a lot during new years.

The literature supports this. In my personal experience, clonazepam is the least potentiated by alcohol, but it still certainly makes a significant impact on the sedation. Be careful. Alcohol and benzo's in general can be a dangerous mix. Drink in moderation or consider reducing your benzo dose. Remember that both clonazepam has a long half life, so even if you were to stop taking it right now, it would still be in your system to a considerable extent on new years eve/day/.
