another seroquel question

Is there anyway to fine tune a dose of seroquel
to effect histamine and serotonin and not touch dopamine in any
way????

Go ask the pharmaceutical companies... issues of D2 have been around since the 1950s. I'd love a better Seroquel.

Seroquel XL is now out but I believe its just a patent extension to 2017 as usual.

Trazodone, Serzone, and Remeron (at high doses), in a way have similar 5HT blockade as opposed to reuptake. On the other hand they are full of their own side effects -- Trazodone, its metabolite mCPP can cause psychosis possibly in those prone to it, Serzone, liver problems in a small number of people which led the manufacturer to run and nefazodone is now generic and recommended to have liver tests, Remeron, weight gain for alot.
