I saw a thing on 60min about people who cannot get to sleep, even with the most HEAVIEST sediteves. They do close there eyes but its not sleep its "in between", more of the realm of stage 1 sleep. I saw footage of it, people cannot even function, its horrible.
here is an article i read about it. (trigger)
just in case.....
http://www-personal.umd.umich.edu/~jcthomas/JCTHOMAS/1997%20Case%20Studies/AAkroush.htmlWhat do you think is the solution for this because i know that Versed, Seconal, all of the heaveiest sedatives there are where not effective....
What do you think? what the solution..... whats an idea?
Someone?

no no no.
Im just, i heard about, well i was wondering if there was a condition where you cant get to sleep.I started investing on it.
This is not at all trying to scare people. Im talking, these people on 60min went nearly years with out sleep. Thats why its called "Fatal Insomnia"
I was wondering if doctors had something for this, like EST? or something for the mind to help it operate normally.
no worries. Fatal insomnia takes years.
Maxi i did this because i was worried about you.
Can you respond to heavy seds.? will they make you sleep.
Thank phillipa for posting. I appriate.

If you look hard enough, anything can get you, but does it serve a purpose ? There are thousands of rare disorders.
Unfortunately I do suffer from a perplexing psychiatric condition that could be considered a "rare disorder" -- heightened visual and auditory awareness that includes a somatoform "constellation".
It is good that there are groups out there for "orphan disorders" (which sometimes have "orphan drugs")
http://rarediseases.info.nih.gov/
etc.
But not all that is rare may meet the true test for a rare disorder. It may be a complex of psychobiological and psychological conditions.
One of the more "common" rare disorders that one hears of is PKU because some diet drinks have aspartame in them (I'm not going to get into an aspartame discussion....). Sucralose (Splenda) is an obvious better choice. (A can of regular pop has about 160 calories in it so it adds up...)
Anyhow, just an observation. Medical students sometimes get "medical student syndrome" of self-diagnosis.

wow~ whowwsh! thank you for that!
I didnt know that. There is a man i read he was in the CIA he could locate exactly a place on the earth where its longitude and latitude was. Exactly.
That mainly a gift.
Well thanks.......for all the information.
I think i only have a "common" disorder. Such as mood swings, some depression, and anxiety.
But thanks.
