Your heart explodes or some other equally suboptimal cardiac / circulatory event, as a result of the greatly amplified epinephrine / norepinephrine action of the phentermine. If one were to try such a combination, I'd do it outside where the mess would be easier to cleanup. Seriously, that would not be a kewl combo, even as a single run experiment.

Some stimulants can be carefully added with reasonable safety but not phentermine as it has ssri action.
Don't use that one.
I am on adderall with 9mg EMSAM.

brand name is Adipex. It was one half of the infamous Fen-Phen. This is when that in addition to being an anorectant they re-discovered that it also had some ssri action. That + fenfluramine with definate effects on seratonin caused seratonin syndrome and valvular damage in pt's. Myself being one of those pt's.
The ssri action is a bad combo with an maoi.

Well, I haven't had them in over a year and it seemed that they had not become any worse. the damage is mild I'm told. I have heard some say that their valves actually got better over time.
No one has brought up replacement with me but I suppose if needed they can be replaced.
I mean I have a cousin who is in his second year after a heart transplant and doing well so whats a couple of valves? :) I try not to worry about it.
