Depressed

Posted by DisTraught on October 7, 2007, at 8:53:59

Hi, All
Haven't been around in a while. Have become increasingly disparaged, want to get out of my job as the place is dysfunctional (and as a result, many are on sick leave, suffer from suicidal thoughts, don't function properly). I'm on diazepam in order to be able to go to work, where I teach over 200 adults each week and monitor progress. It goes without saying; I don't even know where I am or what I'm doing any longer.
I guess this too, will pass. I hope you're doing better than I am and feel ok.

Penny

Well, the doc gave me citalopram and diazepam (the latter so that I can go to work). I also take portions of the books Feeling Good, A Guide to Rational Living and the 10 dumbest Mistakes...

That's the only thing I can manage on a week-end. I just want to crawl under the covers and stay in bed, but I have kids, too.
What do you do to manage?

Penny

Take diazepam to sleep and low dose luvox. And got to get out of the house so actually sometimes have to make my husband take me somewhere. And the ride my bike. But my kids are grown and I don't work anymore was an RN didn't feel safe for my patients. So quit. Phillipa
