Luvox makes me tired so I prefer to take the whole dose i.e 150mg at night.Should Luvox be taken twice daily? I know it has a short half life. If I take it once daily, wouldn't it cover for the whole day?

Hey guess what I take luvox. I was always told that you could take up to l00mg at once at night and then take the rest in the am. Like another 50mg with the highest dose always in the pm. Not very many people take it. I've been on it for years but I never get past l00mg. Tell me what you take it for if it works and what top dose you're aiming for. So glad you posted this. Phillipa

If I take it once daily, wouldn't it cover for the whole day?I was on luvox for a while and I took my whole dose in the morning 300mg. I was one of the lucky ones, it didn't make me tired. But I had no problem whatsoever taking it once daily. I never divided my dose. Maybe you could try taking it all at night?

Cactus thought that is the maximum dose? Suppposedly the highest dose should be taken at night as it's a sedative like SSRI. So did it work for you that way? Phillipa

No it didn't, it just kept me calm, not sleepy at all even on 300mg but I know that's not normal for most people

Cactus wonder what a low very low dose during the day would do to me? Make me anxious again or nothing? So many years on it. Phillipa
