I'm trying to find a good combination for my ADD. Has anyone found a good stim combination that works and doesn't promote daytime tiredness and a zoned out effect? I'm frustrated!

I switched back and forth between adderall and dex, but eventually both caused me to get stupid about 1/2 way thought the day (this did not help me write better code). Once this occurred there didn't seem to be a way back to the way they worked for me before even in combination. I've come to the conclusion that amphetamines will forever be relegated to history for me.

yeah same here. I started adderallxr and focalin ir yesterday and im still zoned out tired. this is crazy.

I keep going back and forth between the two, one works for a week or two and then sort of fizzles out. I've probably taken them both together, but I don't think there was any difference. In my experience, taking a sustained release version of either (dexedrine spansules or adderall xr) in the morning and then following up with an immediate release pill in the afternoon works best.
I think at least part of the loss of effect is due to poor quality generics (most of mine are made by Barr, which seems to produce the worst generics of everything).

yeah and i actually take the brand adderallxr. it only worked for about two weeks as well. shoot! i'm soooo frustrated. i'm going to try the dexedrine/adderallxr combo and if that doesn't work, i don't know what to try next. i just can't deal with the no enery and no alertness,zoned out feeling. i may as well be a heroin addict...naw just kidding...
