Hi everyone!
I hope all is well or, well enough.
On crazy meds, the writer suggests taking keppra three times a day (rather than one.) She stated it seemed to cause sudden dips into depression otherwise. Anyone else with this experience.
Right now I'm taking 250 mgs four times a day.
I don't have epilepsy nor anything close to bipolar. Atypical depression is my game or more accurately, depression with irritability and lethargy.

Sorry i missed this,i approached my doc on adding this to a combo,now i cant point blank blame the drug,HOWEVER i do personaly believe it set me into a extreme rage that lasted all day,i simply would not stop engaging people who dident deserve it,funny thing is as im being the A-HOLE I WAS,at the same time im showing them the sites why i im doing this possably and they beared and ignored it for the day,and i havent taken it since.I will bring it to the doc and ask i not use it.Pls ask members around u to notice ur patterns of anger and if they get worse.

Rage seems to happen to some people from what I've read. For some it goes away with a higher dose, others with a lower dose, and others with three or four doses spread over the day rather than one or two.

By the way, when I was taking Keppra it was when I went from 500mg daily to 750mg daily that I started to feel the positive effects so hopefully you will experience this soon. As I think I mentioned in a past post, my pdoc wanted me to be at 1000mg daily, but when I went from 750mg to 1000mg, I was overly aggressive and even had a little road rage. 250mg can make a big difference, at least with me
