I dont understand anything about this medication, its prescribed for people who have trouble staying awake, its expensive in a range of 299.99$ where i live which is abosoluty riduclus. I have insurance, PPO but that still would make it what like 50 dollers co pay.

The nurse was almost in my face with brocerces about how good it is i was like, ok ok ok i'll talk with my doctor about it.... in just a minute when she was evaluting me.

First thing he said was ..... dont listen to her on that ROFL! it does work for very well for ADHD in my perpective. I didnt get it i talked to him, is it a stimulant? yes and no..........? i dont get it an antihistime?

He just went straight to strattera from there.

What does Provigil do?

It is a mild mood brightener (effect is shortlived for most)and it gets rid of sleepiness. In most it does not feel traditionally stimulating. But, if you are having trouble staying awake, it really can help.

The most common side effect I have heard of is headache and tight shoulders.

I believe it raises histamine and is pretty safe.

It doesn't help ADHD. It's been tested for that and failed to get approved in the US. It is great for waking you up. I have used it to counteract the sedating effects of other meds that I take. It doesn't do anything for focus and concentration but if you tend to be very lethargic it can help you.
