I've been constantly having shortness of breath, muscle tightness, chills, anxiety, and other symptoms that are known to be symptoms of panic disorder. However, strangely I don't have any fast heart beating symptom. So, I wonder if it's possible to have panic attack without that symptom.

I believe yes as when I have them now almost constantly they are internalized in my head. My pulse and BP aren't bad and I don't feel the heart racing although I did in the past. I just feel it in my head overwhelming fear. Lovc Phillipa

Yeah I've had that. I usually don't think of it as a panic attack, but more like just high anxiety. I describe it as anxiety out the roof. If it's not too bad I just try to ride it out or take .5mg of ativan, but I take .25mg of xanax if it's bad.
