I wish House was my psychiatrist

But then he would probably tell me just to get a grip, get a life or dish out some of his pain killers to me.

But at least he seems intent on getting to the bottom of things. I know he is just a fictional character though, just wish I had a psychiatrist with his sort of mind.

me too denise, I think that every time I watch that show... wouldn't it be nice to have someone who wouldn't give up until you were cured? you caught the one where his friend dosed him with an antidepressant in his coffee, right??

So how did he respond? I'm curious.

House burst out laughing inappropriately during a patient exam at the clinic... then couldn't stop laughing... (this may not be EXACTLY right but close) I found that part very fake and not true to life or what antidepressant therapy does AT ALL... but he knew something was up, remembered his friend had brought him coffee the past few days, confronted him and that was the end of that experiment for Mr. Surly. They never mentioned it again.

I forgive him. He has a very nice attitude to narcotics.

Well, he wasn't actually laughing, but he was smiling ear to ear when telling someone they were terminal or something that grave. So he put amphetamines in Wilson's coffee, and then they had a confrontation because Wilson was tweaked out. It was very fake in that he would have had to drug House's coffee for about a month, and as far as I could tell from the show it had only been a week or two.

I kinda wish there were more doctors of every kind like House. Who cares if they're unpleasant and cocky? If they won't rest until I'm cured, it's all gravy!
