Im having a problem with prozac, now its a good antidepessant for me, but for some reason its caused me to just not think, or feel blunted like your on Ritilin or something.
Does SSRI's do this?

It might, especially if it impairs your sleep.
Depersonalization, drowsiness, somnolence and nausea are known side effects.

Prozac was the worst ever for me, but in defense of it, I have BP2, so yeah, of course it was bad for me. When I was on it, I couldn't feel. I couldn't laugh or cry or have any feelings at all. SSRIs can do that. Perhaps you need a different one. I'm guessing you need a more stimulating SSRI, have you tried Zoloft? Because I have bad anxiety, Zoloft wasn't so great either. Doctors love prescribing Prozac because it has the longest record, since it's the oldest. They have a better idea of how it's going to work.

When I was on prozac, I noticed the same thing. I had no personality, no emotions! No motivation to work or do anything. Cognitive function impaired, made my job impossible. I teach senior mathematics, and over the years I've seen several cases of severe "academic impairment" on students after they've gone on prozac, although most of them have stayed with it, finding the positive effects outweighing the negative.

Having too much serotonin leads to increased stimulation of two specific types of serotonin receptors (5-ht2a and 5-ht2c). Stimulation of either of these receptors leads to a reduction of dopamine in the prefrontal cortex (area of the brain right behind your forehead). The reduced dopamine in the prefrontal cortex leads to inadequate stimulation of the D1 receptor. Proper stimulation of this receptor is necessary for working memory, verbal fluency, attention, motivation and interest. Because of this, SSRI's can induce a state which is very similar to negative schizophrenia. Symptoms can include apathy, poor motivation, problems talking fluently, poor working memory and emotional blunting.
If you want to improve your condition you could possibly decrease the dose of the prozac, or you could try remeron which blocks both the 5-ht2a and 5-ht2c receptors. Or you could take a dopaminergic like wellbutrin, adderall, ritalin etc.
