Since I get terrible water retention with the anti-psychotics (Abiify, Risperdal, etc.) I decided to try a low dose of Trileptal.
Has anyone experienced water retention with Trileptal?

I took low doses of trileptal and now water retention. Was on l50mg for about six months.Love Phillipa

Yes, on 150mgs. bid i had water retention, it wasn't helping me so i went off of it and the water is now gone.-MJ

I had great problems with Abilify and water retention but none so far with Trileptal. I've been on it about a month now.

What dose of Trileptal do you take? Do you take anything else? Any antidepressants?

I take 600mg Trileptal, 20mg Lexapro, 80mg Inderal and 200mg Provigil and 25mg of Seroquel. Think that's it right now...lol. I have had edema problems on Abilify, Emsam and Geodon...I think there were some others but I can't remember what ones right now.
