Hey everyone.
I know I've posted some regarding my Insomnia but I plan on calling my psychiatrist tomorrow to tell her the Trazodone isn't working for me.
I've tried Lunesta (pooped out), Zyprexa (made me gain too much weight), Seroquel (same as Zyprexa) and a few over-the-counter sleep aids.
I am hesistant in trying Remeron because of the weight issues related with it and also I have heard it's like Trazodone. And I don't want to take over-the-counter stuff as it messes with me after a while.
I am interested in any info on Ambien CR, Restoril, Sonata, any other potent sleep aids available. So please don't be shy as I really am desperate and need some help. And some sleep!
Thanks so much!

I'd say based on your history of meds have you ever taken a benzo? As restoril is supposed to be good for sleep. Love Phillipa

I do pretty well on 10 mg (sometimes less) Ambien. I tried Ambien CR, but I found it left me much more sluggish in the morning, and more depressed than the Ambien.
Sleep difficulties are awful and interfere with so many aspects of life. I hope you find something that works well for you.

Ambien CR made me hallucinate, sleep walk, and have bizarre dreams.
This is the end of the thread.
