increased sedation with Geodon and Rozerem?

Posted by waterfall on May 10, 2007, at 22:32:40

I've been taking Geodon in varying doses for almost a year along with Lithium to deal with a manic and a mixed episode. Now my doc has prescribed Rozerem for insomnia and waking repeatedly but I'm afraid to take it. I've really struggled with the sedation of just the Geodon and I'm afraid Rozerem will make it worse; the lit says this is possible. But is it probable? Anyone on this combination that can speak to it? I've been sitting on the samples for 2 weeks, any help appreciated.

Isn't rozeram the one that works with melatonin? If so I wouldn't think it would bother you. Love Phillipa

If the lit says it will make you tired maybe it will. Try it on a day you don't work the next day, and see what happens.
