I'm getting a blood test on Tuesday for a Wilson's disease screening and for certain substances that the Mayo clinic is interested in seeing. Wilson's disease means your body has a hard time getting rid of copper, and one of the symptoms is depression. Are there any other things could be off in my blood that could show what might be contributing to my whacky mental state?

Hi Chiron,
My psychiatrist has had me have potassium and iron levels checked, so there must be some connection there.

I'm sure a complete panel of everything will be done but get an ANA and thyroid panel. Love Phillipa
