Hey, one more board I can belong too! Feeling really stressed out lately from school, went to my family doctor and he gave me some calmness in a bottle and for only 7 1/2 cents a pill for 8 hours! Plus if one doesn't work, he says to take two! I took my first one ever today, and it worked like a charm. I love it! If I knew how well this Xanax works, I would of asked for it sooner!

Happyflower yes indeed it calms you down, relaxes, and allows you to enjoy yourself. Just stick to the prescribed dose. Love Phillipa so glad you found your happy pills.

I'm on the same dosage as you are, though, and have been for a long time. I call them my Function pills. That's a long way from Happy, but it still works.sp

I am just surprised how it calms you down in around 20 min., and doesn't make you feel weird or anything. I am only suppose to take it only when I feel it is overwhelming, like during finals, or maybe a musical performace, but not everyday. In fact my bottle has 75 does, and I expect for it to last a very long time. I personally rather use excercise, or other stuff to help me first, but if that fails, then pop a pill for totally zen. :-)

i take temazpeam, and xanax at a high dose when needed.
You can become immine to it. Or tolerant is what should i say. Be careful, take it PRN thats the best, not every day. Like i have.
Which i am prescibed for it everyday, but xanax just doesnt seem like a happy pill to me.
Adderall or Dexedrine is my choice.

it only works for about 2 months then u just have to keep taking it to keep from going nuts then the docs cut u off and u do go nuts for a week or so =/
xanax is the crack of benzos ive read on here and i agree with =]

Hi! I call it a happy pill because it calmes me down and when happyflower is calm, I am the most happiest. Thanks for the warning. I am not taking it on a regular basis, which is good, I am too scared of getting dependent on anything .

I disagree friendly disagreement as if taken as directed no problem. Took it for years and no problems swithching to something else. More problems with antidepressants. Just my experience. Love Phllipa

After many years I take 5 mg a day just to ward off withdrawal effects mostly. It is however a very benign drug and isn't going to screw you up like many ADs. You sound sensible though, unlike me, so taking it carefully, only as needed can be very effective Fred
