I've had panic attacks for about 2 years, of on, well my first panic attack was Deadly, i thought i was going to have a heart attack, but no i was in the middle of traffic at 5:40pm stuck, had the worst panic attack, or horror attack in the world i couldnt see straight, cars honked at me so i wouldnt hit them. It finally went away when just cried out for christ to save me from i thought impending desaster.
After that i had moderate, panic attacks, but then anxiety through the day...ugh.
Well sometimes i operate good on anxiety, its stimulating.
Anyways, actaully Prozac increases anxiety for me! I dont know who or where they said Fluvoxtine is good for anxiety
I take 30mg one time i took 40 and it drove me insane!
But it does keep me active.
Anyone?
I would never take the big P..........Paxil, i;ve heard many stories of being groggy, foggy reality.
I dont know just heard from some people here.

I don't know... there is a wide dose range of Paxil, it is the 2nd or 1st most sedating SSRI, which makes it quite suitable for panic attacks and other forms of anxiety that may be mixed with depression, because often with SSRIs its hard to treat both. I've heard of people who take as little as 5mg, but probably at least 10mg would be useful.
I consider Prozac to be the big P personally, because if you make a decision, you have to wait a month to see what happens with its half life (7 days * 5). Paxil has a very short half life.Just a thought.

Paxil 30 mg = miracle for panick disorder
for a year now no pannick attack...
Paxil doesnt make me groggy at all... its not even sedating at all... no side effect ....

Jeroen that's great I took paxil at l0mg first ad but still need xanax and I did drink beer at night I think they negated each other. Love Phillipa
