Are the auras ever misdiagnosed as panic attacks?

The kind where the person feels disconnected from their body and very dreamlike or unreal.

I've had one seizure (diagnosed) and I've had several "panic attacks."
When I had the seizure, I had the strange.. out of body experience.. and also, heard loud sounds (like wind).
With panic attacks, I also get the weird "out of body" feeling. I think it's called depersonalization.
Anyway, I think if your panic attacks cause the depersonalization, it would be easy to confuse the two.
With the seizure, I did not have rapid heartbeat. I just had the out of body/dream like feeling and then I felt as if someone gripped my brain and shook it around.
It was odd.
