Just wondering if these two could be combined, I am worried that SAM-e could possibly make Tianeptine less effective, does anyone know if this is possible?

My guess (and it's just a guess) is that it would OK to combine them. I would suggest a go slow approach. Be on a steady dose of Stablon, and then gradually introduce the SAM-e.

Thanks, its only been a few days, but the small amt of Sam-e I added has definitely helped brighten my mood so far..

I also have some 200mg (it's pretty old but I'm hoping it's still effective) I'm going to try it today with my afternoon tianeptine

No , I have been taking 400mg x 2 ( morning and early afternoon) No side effects and it definitely helps with depression .. but not anxiety/ panic .. if I could just take care of that I would be golden.

No , no insomnia here.. although , honestly , I have no problems at all sleeping. I used to take 800 mg of SAM-e at bedtime with no problems. I think that would cause most people insomnia.
