I wonder if Ritalin would help my elderly mother. She has always been VERY organized but not is very scattered like an ADD person. Anyone know?

Ritalin would probably help her, but age related cognitive deficits are not usually considered an illness needing treatment. I imagine many doctors in the US would prescribe it if there's money to be made from it though.

Personally, the methalphynadate which is the generic, worked better for me. Focalin was a life saver. I would wake up ready to stay on task, all day. It lasts 12hours a day.
