Hi,
I thought I had already posted this question yesterday but when I checked today it wasn't there so am posting it again.
I keep wanting to get back to at least where I was in 2003 (I know you are not supposed to look back but at the moment I don't feel as though I have much of a future), which was at least looking forward to things again.Seroxat 40mg worked for two years and then seemed to lose it's effect in 2005. I tried augmenting it with various agents to get the same effect but to no avail. I thought perhaps coming off it and then going back on it again might help but after coming off it for over month and just feeling awful, even after the withdrawal effects were over, I had to get back on something.
I've started taking Nardil and it seems to be taking the anxiety away but ultimately I want to get the same affect from the Seroxat again. Has anyone experienced poop out from an SSRI, switched to an MAOI and then switched back to an SSRI with success?
I have thought about trying again to come off all drugs again for a while in the hope that I would go back on Seroxat again and that it would work but I'm not sure how long I would have to come off medication for, if I could do it or if this would be just another failed attempt and waste of time.
I worry some times that I've just become more and more resistant to anything and that I'm never going to feel any good. That I've got a life long prison sentence ahead of me.
Thanks for any responses.....Denise

Hi Elanor,
Thanks so much for responding, can I ask you a few questions.
1 - How resistant were you to medication before responding to Lexapro in the first place. i.e what meds had you tried beforehand and with what response?
2 - How well did you respond to Lexapro when you first took it?
3 - Why did you switch to Parnate, had the Lexapro stopped working and how long were you on it before it stopped working.
4 - How long were you on Parnate for and what effects did you get from it?
5 - How long was the break in between stopping Ledxapro and starting it again?
Sorry for asking so many questions but my mind is often full of questions, worries and concerns.
Denise
